  • Main tasks and practical skills:

    Based on Article 247 of the CrPC, an appellate trial shall be conducted applying the same procedures as a trial of first instance; in principle, the Judge, therefore, should follow provisions of Chapters XVIII, XIX, XX, XXI and XXII of the CrPC, Parts II, III and IV of Resolution No. 04/2004, and Section 4 of Part II of Resolution No. 05/2005, in order to conduct an appellate trial in accordance with legal provisions.
