5.1. Being independent and obeying only the law


  • C. Marx emphasized that: “Superior to judges is the law”. In the adjudication process, the judge is independent, not affected by the others’ opinions. An organization or individual shall in no way interfere with the adjudication activities of the Judge.
  • When adjudicating any case, the Judge is independent and must comply with the law. The Judge must rely on legal provisions to make or issue decisions and opinions in relation to each respect of the case, not accidentally or by feeling.
