3.2.2. Resignation and removal of Assessors of the People’s Courts

  • Main tasks and practical skills:

    • Assessors of the People’s Courts may resign office for health, family or other reasons (Item 1 of Article 41 of the Ordinance on Judges and Assessors of the People’s Courts).
    • Assessors of the People’s Courts shall be automatically removed from office when they commit any breach of qualification, morality or law, and becoming ineligible for being an Assessor (Item 2 of Article 41 of the Ordinance on Judges and Assessors of the People’s Courts).
    • The resignation and removal of Assessors of the People’s Courts must be in accordance with Article 38 of the Ordinance on Judges and Assessors of the People’s Courts.
