RESOLUTION No. 07/2003/NQ-CP of May 30, 2003 of the Governments May 2003 regular meeting On May 28 and 29, 2003, the Government held its May regular meeting, discussing and resolving the following issues: - It examined a scheme on reforming the policies on wages and salaries, social insurance and preferential allowances for people with meritorious services. - It examined a draft Resolution on amendment, supplementation and continued implementation of Resolution No. 16/2000/NQ-CP on streamlining administrative agencies and non-business units; a bill on land-use tax; a draft decree detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the State Budget Law; a bill on inland-waterway traffic and a draft ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Dykes. - It examined the Governments draft program of action for the implementation of the Resolution of the 7th session of the IXth Party Central Committee on the ethnic work in the new situation. - It studied the socio-economic situation in May and in the first five months of 2003.- (Summary)
