Its charter capital: VND 8,000,000,000 (eight billion Vietnam dong), of which the State equities represent 36.4%, equities sold to the laborers inside the enterprise, 17.5%, and equities sold to the outsiders, 46.1%.

Thang Long Steel Joint-Stock Company is engaged in the following production and business lines:

- Processing, rolling, drawing and structuring steel products;

- Dealing in iron-steel and construction commodity items, and consumer goods;

- Importing and exporting metal, electric and mechanical, and consumer goods items;
