DECREE No.61-CP OF OCTOBER 7, 1995 OF THE GOVERNMENT TO DIVIDE A COMMUNE AND ESTABLISH A NEW DISTRICT IN DARLAC PROVINCE (Summary)

To divide Ea Bung commune of Ea Sup district into Ea Bung commune and Ya To Mot commune.

Ea Bung commune has a land area of 23,080 hectares and a population of 2,731, encompassing hamlets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. It borders Ea Sup commune on the East, the Vietnam-Cambodia border on the West, Krong Na and Ea Sup communes on the South and Ya To Mot commune on the North.

Ya To Mot commune has a land area of 18,200 hectares and a population of 3,137, including hamlets 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. It borders Ea Rok and Ea Le communes on the East, Ea Bung commune and the Vietnam-Cambodia border on the West, Ea Bung commune on the South, and Ea Rok commune on the North.

To establish Buon Don district on the basis of Cuor Knia, Ea Bar, Ea Huar, Ea Nuol, Ea Wer, Krong Na communes of Ea Sup district.

Buon Don district has a land area of 141,878 hectares and a population of 35,886, and borders Cu M'Ga district and Buon Ma Thuot City on the East, the Vietnam-Cambodia border on the West, Buon Ma Thuot City and Cu Jut district on the South, and Ea Sup district on the North.-
