DECREE No. 57/1999/ND-CP of July 23, 1999 readjusting the administrative boundaries for the establishment of communes in Long Dat and Chau Duc districts, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

To divide Tam An commune of Long Dat district into Tam Phuoc and An Nhut communes.

Tam Phuoc commune has a land area of 1,400.91 ha and a population of 4,453, while An Nhut commune has a land area of 525.08 ha and a population of 3,623.

To establish Phuoc Hung commune of Long Dat district on the basis of a land area of 854.26 ha and a population of 9,700 of Phuoc Tinh commune.

To divide Phuoc Long Hoi commune of Long Dat district into Phuoc Hoi and Long My communes. Phuoc Hoi commune has a land area of 1,714.44 ha and a population of 3,662, while Long My commune has a land area of 1,275.03 ha and a population of 3,012.

To establish Son Binh commune of Chau Duc district on the basis of a land area of 2,289 ha and a population of 9,313 of Xuan Son commune.

To establish Binh Trung commune of Chau Duc district on the basis of a land area of 1,662 ha and a population of 6,376 of Binh Gia commune.- (Summary)
