DECREE No. 59/1999/ND-CP of July 24, 1999 readjusting the administrative boundaries and splitting Phong Chau and Tam Thanh districts, Phu Tho province

To divide Phong Chau district into Lam Thao and Phu Ninh districts.

Lam Thao district has a land area of 12,534 ha and a population of 122,038, comprising 17 dependent administrative units.

Phu Ninh district has a land area of 17,764 ha and a population of 118,669, comprising 21 dependent administrative units.

To divide Tam Thanh district into Tam Nong and Thanh Thuy districts.

Tam Nong district has a land area of 14,659 ha and a population of 79,112, comprising 20 dependent administrative units. Thanh Thuy district has a land area of 12,097 ha and a population of 72,900, comprising 15 dependent administrative units.- (Summary)
