DECISION No. 641-TTg OF THE 4th OF NOVEMBER 1994 ON TRANSFORMING THE MARKETING SECONDARY SCHOOL INTO A SEMI-PUBLIC MARKETING COLLEGE

THE PRIME MINISTER

Proceeding from the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP of the 2nd of March 1993, on the tasks, powers and State managerial responsibility of the Ministries and agencies at ministerial level;

Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training (in its official dispatch No. 6770/KHTC on the 29th of September 1994) and of the Government's Pricing Commission (in its official dispatch No. 750-VGCP/TCCB on the 6th of September 1994),

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To transform the Marketing Secondary School of Ho Chi Minh City (under the Government's Pricing Commission) into a semi-public institution and upgrade it to college status (in the system of university and college education).

Article 2.- The Ministry of Education and Training and the Government's Pricing Commission shall define the objectives, methods and contents of the college's training, and are responsible for the quality of its new collegial training. The semi-public Marketing College is placed under the State management of the Ministry of Education and Training. The College has its own legal status, seal and bank accounts.

The College’s diplomas are part of the national system of diplomas.

Article 3.- The semi-public Marketing College is organized and run in accordance with law, with the regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training for semi-public schools, and with its regulations ratified by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 4.- The Minister of Education and Training, other Ministers, the Heads of agencies at ministerial level and agencies attached to the Government, and the Presidents of the People's Committees of the province and city concerned under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
