To establish Vinh Thong ward of Rach Gia commune with a land area of 1,518.56 hectares and a population of 7,151 of Phi Thong commune.

To establish Binh Giang commune of Hon Dat district with a land area of 12,793 hectares and a population of 8,434 of Binh Son commune.

To establish Thanh Tri commune of Tan Hiep district with a land area of 4,117.56 hectares and a population of 10,294 of Thanh Dong A commune.

To establish Thanh Dong commune of Tan Hiep district with a land area of 5,438.06 hectares and a population of 15,169 of Thanh Dong B commune.

To establish Thanh Loc commune of Chau Thanh district with a land area of 2,907.21 hectares and a population of 11,119 of Mong Tho A commune.

To establish Thanh Phuoc commune of Giong Rieng district with a land area of 4,883 hectares and a population of 8,980 of Thanh Hung commune.

To establish Thanh Loc commune of Giong Rieng district with a land area of 4,673 hectares and a population of 8,980 of Thanh Hung commune.

To establish Hoa Loi commune of Giong Rieng district with a land area of 4,020 hectares and a population of 6,951 of Hoa Hung commune.

To establish Hoa An commune of Giong Rieng district with a land area of 3,010 hectares and a population of 7,658 of Hoa Hung commune.

To split Vinh Phuoc commune of Go Quao district into Vinh Phuoc A and Vinh Phuoc B communes.

To establish Nam Thai A of An Bien district with a land area of 3,538 hectares and a population of 8,108 of Nam Thai commune.

To establish Tay Yen A commune of An Bien district with a land area of 3,313 hectares and a population of 10,818 of Tay Yen commune.

To establish Dong Hung A commune of An Minh district with a land area of 3,364 hectares and a population of 7,091 of Dong Hung commune.

To establish Dong Hung B commune of An Minh district with a land area of 8,311.99 hectares and a population of 10,150 of Dong Hung district.

To establish Tan Thuan commune of Vinh Thuan district with a land area of 4,033 hectares and a population of 10,164 of Vinh Thuan commune.
