Decision No.164-TTg of March 19, 1997 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the State Steering Board for the implementation of the Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airport projects. The State Steering Board for the implementation of the Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airport projects is headed by Mr. Do Quoc Sam, Chairman of the State Council for the Evaluation of Investment Projects. The Board shall assist the Prime Minister in directing activities of investors in the process of preparing and implementing the projects; coordinate the work of the concerned ministries, branches and localities in considering and handling proposals of investors on issues related to the projects according to its competence or submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision issues beyond its competence; urge, inspect and supervise activities of investors in the implementation of the projects.- (Summary)
