Decree No.54-CP of May 28, 1997 on the establishment of Phu Tho and Phu Hoa wards of Thu Dau Mot provincial town and Tan Phuoc Khanh township of Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province. To establish Phu Tho ward on the basis of the whole land area of 504 hectares and a population of 10,163 of Phu Tho commune. To establish Phu Hoa ward on the basis of the whole land area of 1,503 hectares and a population of 15,386 of Phu Hoa commune. To establish Tan Phuoc Khanh township of Tan Uyen district on the basis of the whole land area of 1,114 hectares and a population of 9,898 of Tan Phuoc Khanh commune.- (Summary)
