DECREE No. 108/2003/ND-CP of September 23, 2003 on the adjustment of administrative boundaries for the expansion as well as the establishment of new wards and the adjustment of administrative boundaries of wards, of Hung Yen provincial capital, Hung Yen province To adjust the administrative boundaries of Tien Lu and Kim Dong rural districts for the expansion of Hung Yen provincial capital. After the adjustment of administrative boundaries, Hung Yen provincial capital shall have a land area of 4,680.36 ha, a population of 76,409 and 12 attached administrative units. The land area of Tien Lu rural district shall be reduced to 9,242 ha, with a population of 104,072 and 18 attached administrative units while those of Kim Dong rural district shall be 11,464.87; 122,650 and 19, respectively. To establish An Tao ward of Hung Yen provincial capital on the basis of a land area of 322.56 ha and a population of 8,444 of Hien Nam ward. To adjust the administrative boundaries of Hien Nam, Le Loi, Lam Son, Quang Trung, Minh Khai and Hong Chau wards of Hung Yen provincial capital. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Summary)
