DIRECTIVE No. 36/1998/CT-TTg of October 23, 1998 on reviewing the implementation of the Government's Decree promulgating the Regulation on Industrial Parks, Export Processing Zones and Hi-Tech Parks

In order to proceed with the drafting of the Law on Industrial Parks, the Prime Minister instructs the ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies attached to the Government and the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities to review the implementation of the Regulation on Industrial Parks, Export Processing Zones and Hi-Tech Parks (hereafter referred collectively to as the Industrial Parks) with some following contents:

- The general evaluation of operations of industrial parks over the recent years;

- The planning for development of industrial parks;

- The compensation for site clearance;

- The development of infrastructure projects outside the industrial parks' fence in compatibility with those inside the industrial parks' fence;

- The observance of the State administrative procedures for investment licensing; the management of construction, commerce, finance, banking, labor, customs and public security;

- Comments and proposed amendments and supplements to provisions of the Government's Decree promulgating the Regulation on Industrial Parks.- (Summary)
