DECISION No.248-TTg OF APRIL 23, 1996 OF THE PRIME MINISTER ON REORGANIZING AND RESTRUCTURING A NUMBER OF UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT To reorganize the Research and Development (R&D) Department and the Technology Promotion Department into 3 units: Science Management Department, Technology Management Department and Office for Technological and Environmental Evaluation of Investment Projects. To rename the Planning and Financing Department into Planning Department. To establish: the Institute of Science and Technology (S & T) Strategy and Policy Study on the basis of the Institute of S & T Forecasting and Strategy Study and the Institute of S & T Management Research; the Accounting and Financing Department; the Science, Technology and Environment Management School on the basis of reorganizing the existing vocational training establishments for scientific, technological and environmental management under the Ministry.- (Summary)
