DECISION No. 219/2003/QD-TTg of October 28, 2003 approving the master plan on reorganization and renovation of State enterprises under Vietnam Electricity Corporation till 2005 The list of State enterprises under Vietnam Electricity Corporation to be reorganized and renovated till 2005, promulgated together with this Decision, comprises 34 enterprises and units where the State continues to hold 100% of their charter capital and whose legal person status remains unchanged, including 12 independent-accounting enterprises, 17 dependent-accounting enterprises and 5 non-business units. The reorganization roadmap is as follows: - State enterprises to be equitized with the State holding more than 50% of their charter capital: 3 in 2003, 4 in 2003-2004 and 1 in 2003-2005; - State enterprises to be equitized with the State holding shares at low rates: 3 in 2003; - Enterprises to be transformed into one-member limited liability companies: 1 in 2003, 1 in 2003-2004 and 1 in 2003-2005; - Enterprise to be merged: 1 in 2003-2004. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Summary)
