No. 13
Re: Selected Organic Law still in Force


In order to continue an election of the members of local assembly and local administrator in an honest and fair manner, the Council for Democratic Reform hereby announces as follows:

Clause 1. The Organic Law on Election Commission, B.E. 2541 (1998) shall continue in force.

Clause 2. The Election Commission shall have the powers and duties to control and cause to be held an election of the members of local assembly and local administrator in an honest and fair manner.

Clause 3. The Election Commission shall have the powers and duties to shorten or extend the period or to lay down election procedure as prescribed in the Election of the Members of Local Assembly and Local Administrator Act, B.E. 2545 (2002) to be suitable for the unheld election or the election to be proceeded.

Clause 4. The Election Commission shall consist of:

(1) Mr. Apichart Sukukkanon Chairperson
(2) Mr. Prapun Naigowit Commissioner
(3) Mrs. Sodsri Sattayadhama Commissioner
(4) Mr. Somchai Jungprasert Commissioner
(5) Mr. Sumeth Upanisakorn Commissioner

Until otherwise is announced.
