Standing Committee of the National People's Congress

Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Acceding to the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel

Adopted on August 28th, 2004

The 11th Session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress decides: the People's Republic of China accedes to the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel, which was adopted at the 49th United Nations Assembly on December 9th, 1994; and states simultaneously, that the People' s Republic of China shall make reservation on paragraph 1 of Article 22 of the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel, and shall not be subject to the restrictions of this Clause.
