The Standard of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Company Code is hereby distributed to you for implementation.

This standard with the code number WM1-1999 is a compulsory trade standard, which comes into force on January 1, 2000. It is promulgated and administered by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. The quota and license administration bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation is responsible for its interpretation. The China Standard Press takes charge of its publication.
